We need an ambitious, results-driven, intermediate frontend developer to work with an expanding dev team, implement new features, and creatively refine the user experience. We have completed the prototyping and beta phase of our app, and we are preparing to begin the next stage of development. During this phase, we will optimize current features and implement new ones. Our stack features a variety of interrelated technologies. Your role will be to implement visual elements that users see and interact with within our app, as well as collaborate with our backend developers to integrate these elements with the rest of our systems.

Ideal Candidate would have

• 2+ years of experience as a front-end or full-stack developer
• Fluency or understanding of common languages, databases, operating systems, and cloud technology
• A portfolio of software projects demonstrating intuitive design, quality, and attention to detail
• Proficient understanding of code versioning tools such as Git. A good understanding of SEO principles
• Great leadership, interpersonal, troubleshooting, and written/verbal communication skills
• Excellent project and time management skills
• Ability to effectively communicate technical subject matter with business leaders, product managers, and software developers
• Ability to work independently or with a group; To both follow instructions and think creatively
• Shown understanding of Agile methodologies, such as SCRUM and Kanban
• Critical thinker and problem-solving skills
• Degree in Computer Science or equivalent industry experience

Responsibilities include:

• Understanding the product goals and strategy and effectively communicating with internal and external stake holders to effectively execute these goals with an intuitive and high-quality user experience
• Working together with product managers to scope out new features, develop test criteria, and conduct user experience tests
• Ensuring the highest standard of code with attention to detail and thorough testing
• Effectively allocating your time between tasks - ensuring that you can complete assigned tasks within the allocated timeline
• With kindness and patience, providing junior engineers with assistance on critical tasks
• Maintaining systems and responding quickly with fixes to bugs and other performance issues that may arise
• Developing ideas for new programs, products, or features by monitoring industry developments and trends.
